Portugal

I just got back home from a trip to Portugal. I planned to be there for 10 days. The time went by all too soon. I met my friend there that I have been longing to see. This is a great country filled with very nice polite people. I can't speak Portugese, but that didn't seen to be very important. No matter whether they knew a little or alot, they were all too willing to help me out the best that they could. The wine, food, beaches, terrain, and the great people were all exceptional. I like to visit the churches and especially the basilica in Fatima. That was listed on my list of places to go, as a must see. I would never have imagined a huge place like that could be in the country hills of Portugal. After get back home and reveiwing the many pictures, I realized what a clean, well groomed country it is. I can't say that for my country. I was impressed by the rail system. Where ever you are, you can go to the train station, buy a ticket and go on your way in about 30 minutes. These trains are frequent and on time. There are many great countries, but this one I would like to revisit.
